How Restorative Care Works
Our Day Center staff partner with your physician and a local licensed Physical Therapist to tailor a wellness plan and set appropriate goals for each participating individual. 
Participants then spend dedicated, regular time with our Restorative Aides, who provide daily assistance with exercises either one-on-one or in a small group depending on personal preference.  Activities are also built into each day allowing participants ample opportunity to continue honing their abilities.  These include “clubs” dedicated to balance, stretching, safety awareness, strengthening and fall prevention. 

The focus is on each person’s potential rather than on a diagnosis or limitations.  By creating a team approach of personalized, short-term and achievable goals, we encourage each individual to reach and maintain their highest level of function.
