Benevilla has announced that its Creative Aging Program is expanding opportunities for local artists and community members to collaborate. These include the Benevilla Life Enrichment Artists in Residence, Birt’s After Hours, Birt’s Boutique, Memory Arts Bistro, Benevilla Artist Gallery, Art in the Garden, and the Creative Aging Speaker Series.
Benevilla’s new Creative Aging Outreach Manager, Fiona Falbo, leads the program, which partners with WHAM, West Valley Arts Council, Vanguard, Theater Works of Peoria, and Rio Salado Lifelong Learning Center.
“I’m really excited about the program and the chance to bring the community together with the arts,” said Ms. Falbo. “Benevilla reaches so many people with its services, and the Creative Aging program expands that outreach to help people become more socially engaged, enjoy better health, and find greater happiness.”
