If your loved one needs health-related care and supervision in a safe, comfortable, home-style setting, then a Benevilla day center is the perfect option. Program participants enjoy games, education, entertainment, crafts, community outings and daily exercise. Hot meals and snacks are included. At specific centers a registered nurse is on staff to assist with the participant's care planning. Nurses provide skilled personal care and monitor medications for participants. Activity therapists ensure programs are tailored to individual needs, incorporating the participant's strengths and abilities, and helping to maintain self-esteem. Lucy Anne's Place is the first adult day center in Arizona to have a built-in intergenerational program. Made up of structured and purposeful activities, the optional intergenerational program promotes unique interaction between adult participants enrolled in Lucy Anne's Place and children enrolled in Wirtzie's Child Development Center.
