PART TIME/FULL TIME OPPORTUNITIES
WIRTZIE’S PRESCHOOL & DAYCARE
LEAD TEACHER
Location: Main Campus, Surprise, Arizona (Relocation not provided).
Work Hours:
Preschool Classroom (ages 3-4 years)- Full Time / 40 hours per week / 8am – 4:30 or 5pm / Monday – Friday
Wobbler’s Classroom (ages 1-2 years)- Full Time / 40 hours per week / 8am – 4:30 or 5pm / Monday – Friday
Rate of Pay: $16.47 per hour.
What will you be doing? Leader in each classroom, display support and guidance to other teachers. Present developmentally appropriate activities which will assist each child in developing to their fullest potential and to support and respect the family diversity of each child. Provide a safe, warm, nurturing environment in which each individual child can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
What qualifications do you need? Associates Degree with 12 college credits in early childhood education/development plus minimum 2 years current/recent experience teaching in early care & education classroom preferred. Fingerprint clearance card, CPR, negative TB/chest X-ray.
TEACHER’S ASSISTANT
Location: Main Campus, Surprise, Arizona.
Work Hours:
Infant Classroom (ages 6 weeks to 1 year)- Monday-Friday / Full Time / 40 hours/week / 8am – 4:30 or 5pm.
Toddler Classroom (ages 2-3 years)- Monday – Friday / Full Time / 40 hours/week / 8am – 4:30 or 5pm.
Pre-K Classroom (ages 4-5 years)- Monday – Friday / Full Time / 40 hours/week / 8am – 4:30 or 5pm.
Floater/Breaker (All classrooms)- Various shifts available Monday through Friday / On Call or As Needed coverage for any classrooms. Monday through Friday between hours of 6:15am – 6:00pm. Must be available to accept shifts with 1-hour notice.
Rate of Pay: $14.50 per hour.
What will you be doing? Work in coordination with Lead Teacher to present developmentally appropriate activities which will assist each child in developing to their fullest potential and to support and respect the family diversity of each child. Provide a safe, warm, nurturing environment in which each individual child can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. May be assigned to work in a variety of classrooms enriching the lives of children between the ages of 0 to 5 (infant to pre-k).
What qualifications do you need? Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Surprise, AZ area before starting work (No Relocation Assistance). Pursuing or have received High School diploma/GED equivalent. Prefer 1 year experience teaching in early care & education classroom. Will consider life experience gained through volunteering in weekend nursery/class, sitter/nanny. BENEVILLA
FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST
Primary Location: Main campus, Surprise, AZ.
Work Hours: 12:00pm – 6:00pm / Monday – Friday / 30 hours per week.
Rate of Pay: $14.76 per hour.
What will you be doing? – Providing a great impression by fostering Benevilla Service Excellence initiatives while greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone system, and providing clerical assistance.
What qualifications do you need? – Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Peoria/Sun City/Surprise, AZ area before starting work. No Relocation Assistance. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 1 year experience with a multi-line phone system. Intermediate level proficiency with office software products for general word processing, data entry and basic calculations, and presentation development. (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
ENRICHMENT PARTNER
Primary Location: West Valley Life Enrichment Program – Peoria, Arizona.
Rate of Pay: $14.50 per hour.
Work Hours:
Monday through Friday: 9:30am – 5:00pm (37.5 hours week).
Fridays: 10:00am – 3:00pm or 4:00pm (5 to 6 hours per week).
What will you be doing? – Enriching the lives of Adult Day Program members by assisting members with individualized activities, personal hygiene, and meals.
What qualifications do you need? Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Peoria/Sun City/Surprise, AZ area before starting work (No Relocation Assistance). High School diploma/GED equivalent and 1-2 years current/recent experience in Adult Day Program, Adult Group Home or as in home caregiver serving elderly members. Possess or able to receive *fingerprint clearance card, *CPR, *negative TB/chest X-ray, *Article 9 Certification, *Food Handler’s Certification (*Benevilla will assist with the costs to obtain).
FACILITIES MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR
Primary Location: Surprise, AZ.
Available shifts: Monday through Friday / Full Time 40 hours per week.
Rate of Pay: $21.14 per hour.
What will you be doing? Perform, plan, direct and coordinate all facility maintenance and ensure proper safety, sanitation and mechanical functions for the facilities including grounds and maintenance. Responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
What qualifications do you need? Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Surprise area before starting work (No Relocation Assistance). High School diploma/GED equivalency required. Minimum 2 years facilities maintenance for adult day program, skilled nursing facility or apartment experience (including some HVAC experience). Company insurance requirements for drivers- Valid Arizona driver’s license and proof of current vehicle insurance. 21+ years of age. 5 years clean MVD record. Able to successfully pass non-DOT physical & drug/alcohol screening (pre-hire & random screenings). Successfully pass background clearance.
DISHWASHER/KITCHEN UTILITY AIDE – BIRT’S PROGRAM MEALS
Location: Surprise, AZ.
Available Shift: 9:00am – 2:00pm / Monday – Friday (occasional weekends & holidays may be required) – 25 hours/week.
Rate of Pay: $14.50 per hour.
What will you be doing? – Maintaining kitchen and storage areas in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. Restocking and receiving items from vendors. Making sure dishes are washed according to safety guidelines. Under direction of Food & Beverage Manager, assisting with preparing foods in accordance with specified recipes and procedures. Assuring foods are of a high-quality meeting standard of portion, doneness, freshness, and presentation. This position may also need to aid the team over weekends and possibly holidays, in such case they would be notified prior.
What qualifications do you need? Able to reliably commute or planning to relocate to Peoria, Sun City, Surprise, AZ area before starting work. (No Relocation Assistance). High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
Food handler’s certification and minimum 2 years culinary experience.
GROUP SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT JOB COACH
Primary Location: Peoria, AZ.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday / 32 – 35 hours per week / 9:00am – 3:30pm or 4:00pm.
Rate of Pay: $15.21 per hour.
What will you be doing? Provide an enriching person-directed environment by offering meaningful and purposeful teaching, training and guidance focused on employment skills and tailored to the specific needs of each member. Drive members to/from enclaves (company vehicle), help build members work skills while at enclaves, complete daily documentation of each member’s workday. Communicate with member’s families and keep Program Director updated and informed.
What qualifications do you need? Reliably commute or planning to relocate to Peoria/Sun City area before starting work (No Relocation Assistance). High School diploma/GED equivalency. Requires 2-3 years of current/recent experience as GSE job coach or caregiver in group home, adult day programming or as classroom lead teacher. BENEFITNESS ADAPTIVE GYM
FITNESS EXERCISE COACH – On Call/As Needed
Location: Surprise, AZ.
Work Hours: On Call / As Needed / 8:00am – 4:00pm / Monday through Friday. Must be available to accept shifts with 1 hour notice.
Rate of Pay: $20.10 per hour – ($25 per hour with National Certification).
What will you be doing? Provide engaging person-centered directed exercise programming, which includes relationship-based meaningful and individualized exercise programs, providing choices, and encouraging members to maximize their body’s ability. This position receives supervision from the Director of BeneFitness. This position is an essential part of the interdisciplinary team and assists with enriching the daily lives of the members.
What qualifications do you need?
High School diploma or GED certification and (3) three years of experience that could include: working as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer or exercise coach. Must have proof of negative TB test (within the last 6 months) and Level 1 Fingerprint card. Must possess, or be able to obtain, current CPR, AED and first aid certifications.(Benevilla will assist with the costs to obtain).
